recipe | ham and chicken casserole with steamed buttery potato

quite a lot of cooking in these few days, i don't know why but my mood of cooking is back and surprisingly i enjoy it! so i got a mixer, a spatula, and a pack of cookies cutter. let's see what i will do next :)
.. and it's been a while since the last time i posted my lunch photos. so today, i'm posting my lunch, again!

today's menu : ham and chicken casserole with steamed buttery potato

and i'm gonna share the recipe with you! yay!

ingredients (serve 1) :
1.5 tbsp butter - melted
2-3 spring onions - chopped
100ml milk
100ml water
1 tbsp all purpose flour
2 slices of chicken ham (or pork or beef)
100gr chicken fillet - sliced
150gr mushroom - sliced
1/2 tsp mustard
ground black pepper (to taste)
white pepper (to taste)

1 big potato - peeled and chopped
1 tsp salt
1 pack of butter

how to :
- mix well butter and spring onion, then microwave for 2 minutes.
- add in flour, and mix together. microwave for 30 seconds.
- add in milk, water, and mushroom, and mix well. microwave for 2-3 minutes. stir each minutes until thick.
- add in ham and chicken, mix well. add in black pepper, white pepper, and mustard, then stir together.
- put in the microwave for 3-4 minutes.
- optional : you can add on cheese or potato crisp on top

for the potato :
- place the potato in a bowl and add water, marinate with salt for 5-10 minutes.
- put in the microwave for 5 minutes or until the potato become soft.

~ serve the casserole and potato in a serving dish. add butter while the potato is still hot. enjoy!
